Privacy policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
1. Scope
This policy describes how Souverain Technologie Inc. handles personal information related to the souveraintech.ca website. It aims to comply with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25).
It does not cover the processing of client data in our applications (for example Souverain Notes), which is governed by a separate agreement.
2. No cookies, no analytics
This is a static site: pre-generated pages, with no user account and no data-collection form.
- No tracking or advertising cookies.
- No analytics or audience-measurement tools.
- No third-party resources loaded by your browser (external fonts, scripts, videos or icons): everything is served from our hosting, in Canada.
- No form: the “Write to us” button simply opens your email software.
3. Server technical logs
To send you a page, the server necessarily receives your device’s IP address. Our hosting provider, OVHcloud, keeps a technical log of requests (IP address, page requested, date, browser) for security and operational purposes, under its own retention policy. We do not use it to track you, and the site uses no analytics tools.
4. Emails you send us
If you write to us (for example at info@souveraintech.ca), we receive your email address, your name if it appears, and the content of your message.
- Purpose: to reply to you and, if you ask, to arrange a demo.
- No disclosure to third parties, no sale, no mailing-list subscription.
- Retention: 2 years after the last exchange, then deletion.
- Email service: mailbox hosted by OVHcloud, in Canada.
Your message also passes through your own email provider, which we do not control.
5. Hosting
The site is hosted in Canada, at OVHcloud’s Beauharnois (Quebec) data centre.
6. Person in charge of the protection of personal information
The executive officer of Souverain Technologie inc. — info@souveraintech.ca
7. Your rights
You may ask to access the information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent, by writing to the person named above. We reply within 30 days.
You may also file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
8. Changes
We will update this page if our practices change; the date at the top shows the latest version.
